MANUFACTURING DRY SUITS FOR OVER 30 YEARS


AZDRY have many years experience as one of the leading designers and manufacturers of drysuits in the world.

Our seam sealing systems, which we developed in 1984, gained recognition for it’s reliability. This is shown through our record against any seam leakage. Since it’s development tens of thousands of drysuits have been successfully made this way.

Our fabrics, seals and boots have been developed in collaboration with our suppliers, ensuring the highest standards and best performance.

Our suits are used by both sport and professional diving as well as the military, fire and rescue and many other agencies also.

We endeavour to set-the-standards by which others follow.

AZDRY was formed by the creators of the original Aquion brand (1984-1998) as a new venture to continue pushing the boundaries of drysuit design and manufacturing.

Using the highest grade materials and manufacturing techniques, all our manufacturing is done is in the UK. This is paramount to our company ethos that there are no limits for anyone’s individual needs or requirements.

This innovative design dry suit uses a telescopic torso with a front entry zip and a second zip cover. The Xtreme range is made from a new fabric from Japan which has a very fine rip stock woven in its design. This design gives extra strength to this light weight fabric which is dark grey in its finish.

The material has a very tactile feel and it is extremely flexible where most other dry suit fabrics are quite stiff. This means with the lightness of the fabric and the flexibility the wearer has no restriction almost like not having a dry suit on.

Xtreme RS is made both top and bottom with the new rip stock fabric, the RS suit has our neoprene boot which has been dipped in liquid latex to give it hard wearing qualities but is still extremely flexible and soft. The suit comes standard with two tech pockets and uses the new aqua dry zip from YKK. Silicone system or latex seals are a choice on this suit. With neoprene boots the suit still only weighs 3.7 kilos depending on the size of the suit.

The Xtreme RS Suit is available in ten male sizes and seven female sizes, and a bespoke made to measure service is also available if required.

SUIT FEATURES

INTEGRATED NEOPRENE BOOTS


These boots are specially manufactured for AZDRY and uses a latex rubber dipping process in its manufacture which leaves the boots softer and more flexible than many other boots manufactured in different ways.

Neoprene boots offer support and protection whilst remaining extremely comfortable.



FLEXIBILITY


The flexibility of the suit is excellent, with the material being so light and flexible in conjunction with the telescopic torso movement in the suit is excellent, so when bending to put your fins on or putting your arm down your back to do shut downs there are no restrictions.


NEW DRY ZIP


Both XTREME suits feature the new plastic zip from YKK, which is easier to close than a conventional metal zip and is maintenance free. The zip is also more flexible and much lighter than the metal zip.

We have been using this model of zip with some of our customers in the coastguard and fire and rescue for a few years now and have not seen any problems.


TECH POCKET


Two tech pockets are fitted to the left and right thighs.

The tech pocket is mounted on a plate which is then used as a slate pocket, the slate pocket has a 21 cm opening and there is also a retaining D-ring.

The tech pocket measures 22 cm wide by 27 cm long and as a depth of 9 cm and the flap is fastened via Velcro fastening and there is a further retaining D-ring inside the pocket.

This innovative design dry suit uses a telescopic torso with a front entry zip and a second zip cover.

The Xtreme range is made from a new fabric fromJapan which has a very fine rip stock in it’s design. This design gives extra strength to this light weight fabric which is dark grey in its finish.

The material has a very tactile feel and it is extremely flexible where most other dry suit fabrics are quite stiff. This means with the lightness of the fabric and the flexibility the wearer has no restriction almost like not having a dry suit on..

Xtreme Tech is made both top and bottom with the new rip stock fabric, the tech also features the ankle gator system with fabric sock. When using the gator system it reduces air migration into the socks. The suit also comes with two tech pockets mounted with slate pockets behind, warm neck and computer retainer bands. We also use the new aqua dry zip from YKK. Silicone seal system or latex seals are a choice on this suit. With all these extras the suit still only weighs approximately 2.8 kilos depending on the suit size

The Xtreme Tech Suit is available in ten male sizes and seven female sizes, and a bespoke made to measure service is also available if required.



SUIT FEATURES

DIVE COMPUTER RETAINER


This strap retainer system enables you to thread your computer strap through tunnels that are fixed to the dry suit arm which will reduce the movement of your dive computer making it easier to read.

Within the tunnels fitted we fix an eyelet which can be used for retaining small torch or camera etc.

This system is only available with silicone ring system!



ANKLE GATOR SYSTEM


The gator system has a zip that comes down from the back of the calf which, when closed, tapers the lower part of the leg: thus reducing air migration.

This system works in conjunction with an integrated fabric sock which is designed to be worn with an external over-boot.



WARM NECK


Warm neck is fitted when standard latex neck seal is fitted or optional silicone system.

The warm neck is fitted to protect the seal and add insulation by holding your hood in position.

The design of the warm neck consists of front and back panels using no Velcro making it extremely easy to use.


NEW DRY ZIP


Both XTREME suits feature the new plastic zip from YKK, which is easier to close than a conventional metal zip and is maintenance free. The zip is also more flexible and much lighter than the metal zip.

We have been using this model of zip with some of our customers in the coastguard and fire and rescue for a few years now and have not seen any problems.

Thanks to this innovate design, the adjustable dump valve can be fitted in the optimum venting position of your choice.

Another feature of this design is elimination of all seams around the neck seal area, helping to increase the reliability and life of the seal.

In the Techlite suit we use a heavy duty polyester fabric in the lower part of the suit for its excellent strength and durability or if preferred we have a high tenacity nylon fabric which can be used in the lower part of the suit.

The upper body is manufactured using a standard weight polyester for its increased flexibility and strength. The combination of using these two types of fabric gives the user a suit weighing approximately 3 kilos. (approx weight, will vary on suit size).

Two Tech pockets are fitted as standard along with our integrated material sock and ankle gator system. Available in ten different male sizes and seven different female sizes. Alternatively, you can use our ‘custom size’ service for bespoke suits.





SUIT FEATURES

SILICONE NECK SYSTEM


The advantage of Silicone is it is not damaged by UV light, it is perfect for those people who have allergies with latex and neoprene.

The seal is much more comfortable due to the increased flexibility of the Silicone over latex and with the neck ring locking system you are able to change neck seal yourself with no need of adhesives, so when you have a spare seal you will never have that worry that you have with other seals.

Currently, the seals are available in the colours black and orange and sizes small and standard.


DIVE COMPUTER RETAINER

VALVES


Apeks® and Si Tech® valves are available. Inlet valves are available in various hose fittings.

Apeks® cuff and auto-dump valves are both available. We recommend the old type adjustable dump valve for reliability and ease-of-use with a gloved hand. SiTech® adjustable dump valve is also available.


FRONT DRY ZIP


The front zipper can be fitted bottom or top closing, we use a medium duty 8 pitch zip made by BDM.

Usually front mounted zips are protected via a Velcro zip flap alternatively we also have a secondary nylon zip cover.





INTEGRATED FABRIC SOCKS


Fabric sock is made up from heavy duty polyester and generally available in shoe sizes but can be tailor-made if required for any special reasons.

The combi pocket itself has a zip opening of approx 20 cm and a zip opening bellow system giving a depth of up to 8 cm maximum width 20 cm and maximum length 26 cm with a retaining D-ring fitted inside the pocket.

Sizes may vary slightly depending on size of suit


CAMERA/SLATE POCKET


The slate pocket has Velcro across the top and down the side to allow for easy access for removing slate, this part of the pocket measures 22 cm wide by 27 cm long.

The camera pocket section has been designed to fit most cameras in their housing, measuring 15 cm wide 17 cm long and a pocket depth of 8 cm.

This pocket is sewn on to the front part of the slate pocket, there is also a slate pen holder sewn down the side of the camera pocket.

This pocket is usually made from the same material as the suit is made from.

Latex seals are fitted as standard, these seals are fitted onto the suit and are taped inside and outside. Heavy duty cuff seals are used which comes in four sizes plus sizing rings for the perfect fit.

Bellowed latex neck seal is used which are taped inside and out and come in four different sizes.

The Azdry CP1 Sport suit is a rear entry telescopic dry suit.With this design you have the ease of entry via a long rear entry zip but the advantage of the telescopic system for improved freedom of movement.

The advantage of the hard-wearing cordura material in the lower part of the suit.

In the upper part we use the more flexible polyester material.

The Azdry CP1 Sport suit is an extremely flexible suit in its use which makes it the perfect school suit as well as the personal diving suit.

The telescopic system uses internal shoulder braces and a external crotch strap in conjunction with a light weight polyester torso band this enables the suit to fit up to 20 cm in height.

There are six polyester colour options which can be used just for the sleeves or the whole of the top to suit your school needs. High tenacity nylon is also available for the lower part of the suit if preferred.
