Try Scuba - £35

Take the opportunity to Try Scuba Diving and make this the start of your underwater experience. Scuba diving is much easier than you could ever imagine, there's nothing quite like it.

The SSI Training Materials and online Training Program are designed so that you can carry out the digital learning at you own pace and at your own convenience. Your SSI Instructor will work closely with you giving you the knowledge and skills you need to make diving safe, fun and exciting.

POOL TRAINING

Your Try Scuba Diving experience will be in a local pool where your instructor will help you enjoy your first dive. Here, in various depths of water we can show you how your equipment works and how to use it.

Your instructor will be with you at all times making it a fun, enjoyable and safe activity suitable for all the family (8 years and up). You may even decide to embark on your first Scuba Diving qualification after this!

Open Water Diver and Dry Suit Specialty - £620

Becoming an SSI Open Water Diver is the best way to start your Scuba Diving adventure. With personalised training from Bespoke Diving Adventures, we will take the time to ensure you are truly comfortable and confident in the water so that you will be ready to enjoy diving anywhere in the world! Your instructor will ensure you have all the knowledge and skills necessary to enjoy scuba diving to a depth of 18 metres.


ACADEMIC LEARNING

The SSI Training Materials and Online Training Programs are designed so that you can learn the theory and knowledge parts of the program at your own pace and when it's convenient for you. You can complete the online tests when you sign up for the SSI's Online Training Program and then attend review sessions with us.

POOL TRAINING

All of our pool work takes place at our local pool, here our instructors  take you through the basic scuba skills you need to become confident in the water. These skills will soon become second nature.

OPEN WATER SESSIONS

You will complete at least 4 open water dives and have chance to put all your new skills in to practice. After successfully completing your open water training dives you will become a Certified Diver.

The SSI Open Water Diver Certification is recognised world wide enabling you to enjoy your diving around the world not just the UK.

When you're ready to expand your knowledge and your skills you can continue your training with the SSI Advanced Training Courses.

SCUBA SKILLS UPDATE - £80

A Scuba Skills Update provides you with the opportunity to review and practice necessary scuba skills that you learned in your original Open Water Diver program under the guidance of a SSI Dive Professional. The Scuba Skills Update is often required for continuing training after a long period of time away from the sport. You will be issued with a SSI Scuba Skills Update on completion.

SPECIALITY DIVER

SSI Speciality Diver is the first step towards becoming a Master Diver, and can begin as soon as you complete your Open Water Course. The first step is completing any two SSI Speciality programs and logging 12 open water dives. Then you will automatically receive the SSI Speciality Diver recognition rating along with your SSI Speciality program certifications.

ADVANCED ADVENTURER - £450

SSI Advanced Adventurer is a program were you choose five SSI Speciality programs, i.e. Boat Diving, Navigation, Dry Suit Diving, Night Diving or even Perfect Buoyancy. Then you undertake an in-water Adventure Dive for each of the programs you have chosen. Each of the Adventure Dives you complete counts as the first dive towards that speciality program, you only need to complete the academic requirements and any remaining dives!

ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

SSI Advanced Open Water Diver is a further Recognition Rating on your path to becoming a SSI Master Scuba Diver. By completing four SSI Speciality programs and 24 logged open water dives, you will automatically receive the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver recognition rating. This will be alongside your SSI Speciality program certifications.

MASTER DIVER

The much sought-after SSI Master Diver is the final step in your recreational diving career. The SSI Master Diver course consists of four Speciality programs and the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue program. By completing the five speciality programs, and logging 50 open Water Dives, you will automatically earn the SSI Master Diver recognition rating , as well as the SSI speciality program certifications.

DIVER STRESS & RESCUE - £390

Stress is a major cause of diving accidents and negatively impacts rescue situations. This program teaches you the skills and knowledge required to recognise and deal with stress, prevent accidents and properly deal with the emergency situations encountered by divers. You will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Speciality certification after completing this program.

REACT RIGHT - £150

React Right is the SSI emergency training program, consisting of the following basic components:

Primary Assessment,

First Aid & CPR Skills,

Primary Stabilization Techniques,

It also includes Two optional components:

DRYSUIT DIVING - £200

This program provides the skills and concepts required to dive safely and comfortably whilst in a dry suit. You will learn the special requirements for dry suit diving, how to use your new equipment, the benefits of a dry suit, and how to deal with emergency situations that are unique to dry suit diving. You will earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Speciality certification after completing this program.

SIDEMOUNT DIVING - £300

 Sidemount Diving is already common practice for many wreck and cave divers. Now the benefits are being discovered by more and more also recreational divers. The ease of movement without a heavy tank on your back and a new feeling of buoyancy are enticing advantages of the diving style. NIGHT & LIMITED VISIBILITY - £170

This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive at night or in limited visibility conditions. Some of the ocean's most amazing creatures only come out at night, so your dive doesn't have to end when the sun goes down. You will learn how to enter and exit the water, use specialized equipment, and how to communicate and dive with a buddy at night or in limited visibility. PHOTO & VIDEO - £150

This program teaches you the skills needed to dive with an underwater camera. It provides the in-depth knowledge and experience required to properly use, maintain and store your equipment. DEEP DIVING - £240

Many exciting dive sites are located in deeper water. Without the correct training, deeper water diving puts you at risk. The SSI Deep Diving Speciality will give you the ability to safely and comfortably plan and conduct dives beyond 18 meters. Also it is a prerequisite for some advanced training. NAVIGATION - £190

This Program provides the skills and concept required to safely and comfortably navigate underwater during a dive. ENRICHED AIR NITROX - £120

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox program will teach you how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Diving with enriched air can increase your-decrompression limits, increase your safety, and reduce the required length of your surface intervals when compared to air. You will earn the SSI EnrichedAir Nitrox 32% or 40% certification after completing this course.

This program provides the skills, concept, and teaching experience required to become an effective SSI Assistant Instructor/ Dive Control Specialist. Candidates who complete this program earn the SSI Assistant Instructor.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE

We can offer the Instructor Training Course via Deep Blue in Fuertevantura. This program provides candidates with the knowledge, concepts and training necessary to organise and conduct entry-level scuba training courses. Candidates will learn the SSI Teaching system and philosophy, and how to effectively teach and evaluate Open Water Diver students. It will also prepare the candidate for their Instructor Evaluation. Candidates who complete this program and the Instructor Evaluation earn the SSI Open Water Instructor certification.
